The Complex
Who Are We ?
Mathieu Baker, president
mathieu.baker@complexehr.comAfter graduating from Thanatologist school in 2000 in Toronto, Mathieu Baker honed his skills by working for a renowned funeral complex for three years. Before succeeding his father, Mathieu diversified his experience abroad - he speaks fluently English and Spanish in addition to French - in several sectors of activity, which allows him to enrich his knowledge, especially with interpersonal relations. In his daily activities, human approach and communication are among the most important elements.
In 2004, Mathieu took over the management of the family business and, at the same time, moved to Bedford. With Mathieu, it is the fourth generation of a company more than renowned in the funeral field that continues its momentum, which makes him very proud.
In 2017, he opened a new complex in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to offer his services to the Haut-Richelieu region.
Hugo St-Onge, vice president
hugo.stonge@complexehr.comFor Hugo St-Onge, contact with families is very enriching and nourishes a part of his personality. Most of the people he receives as part of his family counseling duties are somewhat lost because of the circumstances. Hugo is there to help them with integrity, to relieve them and to help them honor the deceased in the best possible way by guiding them through the maze of formalities.
By partnering with Mathieu Baker, Hugo wishes to offer a listening ear to families, while providing them with a complete and diversified range of funeral services. Indeed, according to Hugo, today, a funeral complex must offer not only the organization of traditional funerals, but also ceremonies that adapt to the spiritual choices of families, whatever they are.
In addition to fifteen years of experience as a thanatologist, Hugo possesses managing and administrative skills that allow him to have a global vision of the operation of the company.
Jacques Charette, General Manager
jacques.charette@complexehr.comWell-known businessman in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Jacques is very involved in his community. He managed a team with his company for over twenty years. He joins the complex’s staff as a very good mentor. Throughout his professional life, he has often directed and organized various activities. He will know how to listen to you, but above all, he is very dedicated to families in mourning. He will do everything to celebrate the life of your loved ones so that these last moments are memorable for you and your families.
